REBAP Pampanga conducts CPE for PRC Licensure of Brokers

REBAP Pampanga conducted its very own Continuing Professional Education (CPE) seminar for brokers last July 24, 2010. This is in compliance with the implementation of the Real Estate Service Act (RESA Law) or R.A. 9646. The RESA Law effectively professionalizes the real estate service industry. All real estate service practitioners will now be supervised by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). But before being issued licenses by the PRC, brokers will have to take corresponding CPE hours depending on the expiration date of their previous DTI Brokers Licenses.

REBAP Pampanga’s CPE was held at the Red Rickshaw Restaurant, Greenfields, CSFP. The 8am-9pm seminar is equivalent to 24 credit hours of CPE. REBAP invited several resource persons to speak on specific topics relevant to the profession. Among the speakers were Atty. Gener Endona for RESA Law; Atty. Mercedes Estelita from the BIR; Mr. Vic Salinas for Appraisal; CRB Corazon Baluyut for General brokerage; Mr. Joe Dizon from the DTI; Lilibeth Bortolo from Pag-Ibig/HDMF; Realtor Marylou Tolentino and Architect Carlo Angelo Aguilar.
